1. Grant of License
Crew Chain Ltd ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CrewChain mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web platform (the "Software") subject to the terms and conditions of this End User License Agreement ("EULA").

2. License Scope
2.1 Permitted Use
- Install and use the Software on your personal devices
- Access the Software through our web platform
- Use the Software for its intended construction project management purposes
- Create and manage projects as a Main Contractor
- Participate in projects as a Subcontractor
- Access project data and collaborate with team members
- Use offline functionality where available
- Access third-party integrations (Google Maps and OpenCage)
- Configure project site locations and geofence settings (Main Contractors)
- Use location services on your device as prompted for site check-in and check-out, and (where you grant the permissions requested, such as Always location on iOS) optional geofence-based automatic attendance when leaving or re-entering the site boundary
2.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Create derivative works based on the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Use automated systems to access the Software without permission
- Circumvent security measures or access controls
- Use the Software to compete with our business
3. Account Requirements
3.1 Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- Main Contractors must use a valid email address
- Subcontractors can authenticate using either email address or phone number
- You must be a construction industry professional with authorized access
- Main Contractors require company verification
- Subcontractors require a valid project code from a verified company
3.2 Subscriptions and payments
- Paid subscriptions (if applicable) are governed by our Terms of Service
- Payments made through the Service may be processed by our payment processor (Stripe)
3.3 Documents and electronic signatures
- The Software may provide document workflows, including electronic signatures and generating signed PDF documents
- Legal effect, enforceability, and any required formalities for signed documents are your responsibility and may depend on your circumstances and applicable law
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Lawful Use
- Use the Software only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Maintain the security of your account
4.2 Content Standards
- All content must be accurate and truthful
- Content must be lawful and not infringe on third-party rights
- You must have rights to all content you upload
- Work documentation must be genuine and related to actual work performed
- You must not upload copyrighted material without permission
- Content must not be defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
- The Software and all related intellectual property remain the property of Crew Chain Ltd
- This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights
- CrewChain trademarks, logos, and branding are protected
- The Software is licensed, not sold, to you
- We retain all rights not expressly granted
- If your subscription includes custom branding (Pro or Pro+ — see our pricing and Terms of Service), you may configure an optional company logo and brand colours stored on your company account; the web application applies the full colour scheme, and mobile apps may show the accent colour and logo consistent with those settings. Your marks remain yours; the Software remains ours. Displaying your logo or colours does not transfer ownership of the Software to you or make the licensed copy your product
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Data Collection
- We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
- We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
- You have rights regarding your personal data
- We may share data with third-party service providers as described in our Privacy Policy
7. Service Availability
7.1 Uptime and Service Availability
- We aim for 99.5% uptime but cannot guarantee it
- We are committed to maintaining continuous service availability
- We will only take the service offline in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Critical security vulnerabilities requiring immediate patching
- Severe technical failures that threaten data integrity
- Legal or regulatory requirements mandating service suspension
- Force majeure events beyond our control
- We will provide at least 48 hours' notice of planned maintenance
- Emergency maintenance may occur without notice only in the above circumstances
- We are not liable for service interruptions
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Disclaimer
- The Software is provided "as is" without warranties
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
- We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service
- We are not liable for third-party actions or content
- We do not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements
8.2 Limitation
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
- You may terminate this EULA at any time
- Termination takes effect immediately for your software licence. Subscription cancellation and billing (if applicable) are governed by the Terms of Service
- You may request data deletion as per our Privacy Policy
- You remain liable for all charges incurred before termination

10. Governing Law
- This EULA is governed by English law
- Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts
- We will attempt to resolve disputes amicably first
- You have the right to use alternative dispute resolution
